Synopsis:
Examination of race relations in the United States. In the first segment, people in three lunchrooms discuss their racial attitudes; in the second, the racial dimensions of current political issues are examined; in the show's third segment, three individuals -- a Mexican-American man living in a major urban center, a white man living in a Midwestern city, and a black woman living in a predominantly white suburb -- talk about the ways that race has affected their lives.
